Written by Douglas Finn

This week, Mary Wheelan welcomes Piper Pichette into the studio for conversation and music.  Piper's instrument is the harp, and her inspiration comes from her own experiences, but also from contemporary literature.  This 1/2 hour show is a departure from other music shows out there, and we think you'll enjoy it.

This month, the Video On Demand "Hero" award goes to Carrie Ferguson, who was the guest on Mary Wheelan's local music program "The Song."  Congratulations to both Carrie and Mary for leading the VOD crowd!

"The Song" was started about six weeks ago by Mary Wheelan, in order to provide local (and not-so-local) musicians with a platform on which to discuss their music, lyrics, compositional style, and even perform a few songs for our viewers.  This in-studio production is somewhat different from the larger music shows that you might have seen on local access TV, in that there's usually a single performer, performing only their original songs.

Mary is always looking for new guest singer/songwriters to be on the show.  If you're a songwriter with a few songs to share, and a story to tell, send an This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
